C class School of the future project

Dimitris Tsikimousa-Costantina Akalestou: School Building
In our ideal school the building is big and spacious because children must have room to move around. It has got a pool that heats up in the winter because students should be taught how to swim. We would also like a roller blades park, a basketball court, a tennis court and a volleyball court because student should learn how to play sports. Another thing that our future school must include are speakers that play music instead of a simple dring-dring for break.

Irene Dimopoulou-Sophie Papali: Materials
Our ideal school has classrooms with I-pads instead of notebooks, because students like technology and we think that it helps them improve their learning. Also, classrooms should have a planetarium on the ceiling so we can learn things about space. We would like to have a robot teacher , so that our real teacher can sit on a sofa and relax. We love our ideal school

Chara Aslanidi-Antony Achladis: Teachers
Our ideal school has friendly and polite teachers. We believe that teachers must give us more free time and a longer recess because we need to relax between subjects. We would like less homework because we have many activities to do in the afternoon. Another thing we want, is that our teachers use technology to teach us and explain things to us.
Cleopatra Trantsidi-Arguro Fragou: Facilities
Our dream school is surrounded by a big garden without a fence so that the students will connect with the natural environment and feel free. We think that our dream school is going to be special because it will have cinemas, bowling alleys, and a free canteen with everything we want. In our opinion, students should not pay for food when they are at school, it should be free.
Joanna Semitekolou-Dimitris Manis: Students
Our ideal school has polite, quiet and serious students who don’t bully each other. We think that our classmates should be friendly because we want a lot of friends; sporty, because we love playing sports with them; funny, because we like to laugh with each other.
George Aretakis-Dafne Nalbani: Exams

Our ideal school has less exams, and less things to study for them because it’s difficult to study a lot of things. Also we believe that it’s far better to have tests with a multiple choice format because it’s easier for us. Another thing is that we want to choose what subjects we will study,  and we want more variety e.g. robotics,

School of the Future
In the future  schools will be very different.I don't think  that instead of teachers there will be robots but there will be some changes .
First of all, instead of books, students will have tablets and instead of whiteboards there will be some touch screen boards.Schools will be a lot bigger and they will be  made of  glass! The classrooms will be spacious, well -lit,well ventilated and equipped with multimedia aids.
The science lab will be up-to-date.The music room will be full of  musical instuments and students will be able to spend their free time in recreation rooms full of toys and games .The sports centre will be small but well equipped. The medical room will be big with well-qualiflied staff and first aid facillities available.Students can have regular health checks-up there. The Art and Craft room will be the centre of creativity with eco-friendly products and the perfect place to generate best out of waste. In this modern school, there will also  be a dance room, spacious and well it, a real heaven for dancers and choreographers.
Another brilliant  idea for the "School of the future'' is that there will be a reception. The reception will be tastefully desinged, since it will be the centre of information. As for the school canteen, the food will be served hot,it will be healthy and appropriate for a balanced diet.
Robots will not replace teachers! But some subjects will  be abolished like physics and biology and some others must be added like money management or first aid. Exams will be abolished too!
That's how I imagine the Schools of the Future-more  modern and more suitable for pupils.

The School of the Future
Have you ever imagined how schools in the future will be? Where will next generations go? What will they learn? I have an idea of what future schools will be like.
First of all,the buildings will be really different. They will be much bigger and made of glass. Also, they will be colourful, either red or green and orange and the name of the school will be written with big letters on the walls. There will  also be a lot of facilities like swimming pools, courts, different classrooms for every lesson and dining rooms. And the equipment will be up-to-date. For example ,the classes will have interactive boards instead of blackboards, children will have tablets and computers instead of books and notebooks and  in the event halls there will be wireless microphones for the theatrical plays of the schools and other helpful equipment.
The lessons will be the same, except geography ,that it won't be taught anymore. All the other  lessons will remain the same because in my opinion all of them are really important. Also, the students will be examined only orally, in rooms that they will be alone so that they won't panic!
Finally, in the classes, during the lessons teachers won't be there. Students will communicate with them via screens.
That's how I imagine the school of the future and I think it will be much better and  more helpful !!!:)

The future school

Have you ever thought of the school of the future? Well, I have. I think it's going to be technologically advanced  and way better than the schools we attend now.
How is it going to be like? It's going to look like a block of flats. It will have about 6 floors and on every floor there are going to be 4 classrooms. Also, there will be a biology laboratory, a library and a computer lab, each one of them on every  floor. The playground is going to be huge and it will have a basketball and  a volleyball court but a football field, too. The students won't need to carry many things with them , just their specialized electronic glasses and pens.
What school subjects there will be? The students will be taught  the same lessons as today, but they will only give exams in Science, Maths, English and Language. The students' grades will  depend on their behavior and participation during the lesson.
Will there be any teachers? Of course there will be! But they won't teach the students. They will just  program the computers an hour before the lesson starts (so the lesson won't start late). In each class there will be one computer for every student and nothing else.
I think that the future school is going to be way bigger and much more interesting . What do you think?

School of the future
I hope that future generations will attend a school that will make it easier for students to learn. It won't be the same as now, lots of things will be different.
First of all, the classrooms will be bigger and more comfortable with clean desks and interactive whiteboards. There, students will be able to spend active and nice time at school.
The whole school building will be huge, clean, modern and with up-to-date technology.  When it comes to facilities there will be so many rooms that will give the opportunity to students to have a relaxing break . These rooms will be full of comfortable armchairs, colorful sofas so there the kids can have their ten-minute break. There will also be a computer room which will be full of electronic gadgets. The decoration will be colorful but the walls will be blue and the lights as well.
Of course some things won't change like the books and the subjects .So, the subjects will remain the same  but there is going to be a new one which would be  the Pet Training. Moreover, exams will take place once in a month and the overall score will be included in the term marks.
The school of the future will be much better for students – modern decoration, polite and nice teachers and a colorful environment for everyone will be some of its features. The next generations will have an easier school life for sure!

School of the Future
Have you ever thought about the school of the future? Has it ever crossed your mind what kind of education your grandchildren will have? And what about the buildings ? How different and how much big will they be?
Firstly ,the buildings will be massive and there will be pools and playgrounds for the students to play. The structure will be made of glass and full of colors so as to seem attractive and bright. There will be 8 huge classes on every floor. There, instead of blackboards there will be modern Smartboards  and projectors .The students will use various devices like laptops, smartphones and tablets so the lesson will be more fun and interesting for them.
Moreover, students will be able to choose just seven lessons to work on easily since most of the students are good only at some specific ones. But those students who are good at all lessons, they will have the opportunity to attend all the classes...Also, the exams will be based on the lessons that every student has chosen. Furthermore, new lessons will be added. As we are getting older we can understand that we should be taught lessons that they do not even exist. Lessons such as Money management, Safety at home and even a Career Advice lesson.
So, at the school of the future a lot of changes will happen for our kids and for the future generations. That means that the School of the future won't be the same !!!

The School of the Future
Everything around us is rapidly developing and  the schools will develop someday too. What do you think about that?
I believe that  schools  of the future will be  really tall like a skyscraper and you would be able to go to the  top floor  and see your city from above. I also believe  that  the base of the school will be made of steel or even stronger materials and the rest of the building will be made mostly of brushed aluminium to give it a strong look. All the classrooms will have a huge window just like the offices in companies. The  inside part of the classrooms will not be dark but  colorful.  As for the books  which are now  very important ,in the future, there will not be any  because we will use tablets instead of them. Moreover ,the equipment will be up-to-date.Holograms  will be used instead of blackboards. Holograms will be really helpful because you won't need to stand up to write again what you've written on your tablet but  you will just need to send the signal to the device of the hologram and the hologram will show them in  1 fraction of a second!
In the future ,I think there will not be any teachers . Future schools will have a special program running on a computer attached to a holographic machine and it will show a face of a man who will serve as a teacher in a way.  Furthermore,in the future, everything will be operated by a computer ,so subjects and exams will be computer-based.Therefore,exams will be different- the examiners will give you a computer and command you to do some certain things on it before the time of the exam runs out.
I think the school of the future will be great with tall buildings, cool equipment like holograms, colorful classrooms and even a holographic teacher! What do you think?

SCHOOL OF THE FUTURE
The school of the future will be very different. It will be more modern, with big classrooms and more luxuries for young students. Bright blue, purple and orange paint cover the classroom walls! Natural light streams into the building from skylights above. So, I think that it will not be the same as the schools that we have now. I've imagined it and I am so excited!!!
The school buildings will be very big, with clean rooms and desks. They will be modern and the center of the rooms will be an open computer lab, about the size of four classrooms. There, each student has their own laptop, working on their own lessons and  electronic boards  will replace traditional blackboards. The facilities will be more and will help the students a lot.
The school subjects probably will be easier than our subjects now. This will happen, because teachers  will  come up with many other ideas to teach to students in the future. School exams, I think, will not be different, because lots of subjects have been already excluded,so, I think that it's not beneficial to delete even more . Also, the teachers will be neither completely the same, nor completely different from how they are now. Maybe ,they will have more knowledge and teach more  interesting things.. The school material we will use will be a bit better than ours.
In general, the school of the future will not  be the same. I'm really optimist about all these changes. This is  because it will be better for all the students and I would be happy if my kids attend it.
So ,I imagine the school of the future just like this!!!What about you?

School of the Future
Have you ever thought how schools will be in the future ? The school of the future will be better, bigger and more interesting than today's school.
The buildings will be bigger and made of glass that is colourful. Outside, there will be a pool, α football field , α basketball court , a volleyball court and a fountain. Also, there will be a playground that little students can play there . There will also be paintings on the walls  made by the kids.
The classes will have chairs that you can't fall off them and desks will be spacious. There will be whiteboards and interactive whiteboards that you can control them with your hand instead of traditional blackboards.
There will not be any teachers but robots that will be programmed to teach kids everything in a better way.
The subjects will be history, information technology, language and  literature, English , geography, physics and chemistry, gymnastics, French, German, Italian, Spanish, American English, music, art, biology, cooking, home economics, religious education , mathematics-geometry and sports.
There will not be any exams but just 1 test per week!
So,this is how I can imagine that the school of the future will be!What do you think?

School of the Future
Today, schools are quite cool, but have you ever imagined how schools will be in the future ? Like looots of years later ? I think that schools in the future will be much better ..with better building and modern equipment.

In my opinion, the buildings will be bigger and better for students to spend  most of their time there. The playgrounds will also be bigger having  more room for the students to play .
Also, I think  that students won't have to carry books and notebooks every morning to school, but instead of them, they'll have to carry their own gadgets.
Finally,I believe  that subjects might change too. They may be more or less that they are now .Who knows? And  since exams are essential , I don't think they should  be abolished. That's how the school of the future is in my mind!

TRAVELLING FAR, FAR AWAY - DEEP INTO THE SPACE

Space Travels In The Future

NASA has an exciting new vision for the future of spaceflight .It's the return of humans to the moon by 2020 in preparation for visits to Mars and possibly beyond.
Moon missions are essential to the exploration of more distant worlds. The moon could be used as a forward base of operations on which humans learn how to replenish essential supplies, such as rocket fuel and oxygen, by creating them from local material, such skills are essential to the future expansion of human presence into deeper space.
http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/crux/files/2015/12/101883main_C91_08781_1200x900.jpg

Constellation Program

The Constellation Program has near-term scientific objectives as well. Although humans have visited the moon before, our closest neighbor still harbors its own scientific mysteries to be explored—including the investigation of water ice near the moon's poles.
Future human moon missions will be preceded by robotic reconnaissance launches to scout landing sites that may have the most resources available to astronauts. The moon's south pole is considered particularly promising because it is rich in hydrogen and may be home to water ice as well.

In the 2000s, several plans for space exploration were announced; both government entities and the private sector have space exploration objectives. China has announced plans to have a 60-ton multi-module space station in orbit by 2020.
The NASA Authorization Act of 2010 provided a re-prioritized list of objectives for the American space program, as well as funding for the first priorities. NASA proposes to move forward with the development of the Space Launch System (SLS), which will be designed to carry the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, as well as important cargo, equipment, and science experiments to Earth's orbit and destinations beyond. Additionally, the SLS will serve as a back up for commercial and international partner transportation services to the International Space Station. The SLS rocket will incorporate technological investments from the Space Shuttle program and the Constellation program in order to take advantage of proven hardware and reduce development and operations costs. The first developmental flight is targeted for the end of 2017.

Deep space exploration
Deep space exploration is the branch of astronomy, astronautics and space technology that is involved with the exploration of distant regions of outer space. Physical exploration of space is conducted both by human spaceflights (deep-space astronautics) and by robotic spacecraft.
Some of the best candidates for future deep space engine technologies include anti-matter, nuclear power and beamed propulsion. The latter, beamed propulsion, appears to be the best candidate for deep space exploration presently available, since it uses known physics and known technology that is being developed for other purposes.
